I cannot believe the Republicans on this. A high-school kid in Georgia receives a call from his mom who is stationed in Iraq, on his cell phone. Teacher comes up to the kid and tells him cell phones are not permitted during school. Kid says it's his mom, he's not going to hang up on her. School suspends him for 10 days.
This is just like the Republican wingnuts. They get control of local government institutions then use them to control our lives. Now it has gotten to the point where they are so drunk with power, that they send moms over to Iraq and then refuse to let them talk to their own kids. It was lunch time for gosh sakes, it wasn't like he was interrupting class.
