In the 2014 cycle — the DCCC and DSCC outdid themselves with fundraising appeal after fundraising appeal about how we were doomed to lose so please donate. You know what — they worked great as far as fundraising.
The cost — voters who assumed we were going to lose so they didn’t show up.

Someone needs to freaking call these clowns and tell them to STOP. The “we’re ahead but need every vote because this is close” is a much better message. The stupidity is that the fundraisers are measured on one thing — raising money. Different people are measured on wins vs. losses. The Clinton team is the best data team ever — they need to get on the phone with the DCCC and fix their message.
